Gearbox Repair / Garage Recommendation

Just been told by my local porsche garage that my Cayenne S Auto needs a new gear box. £4100 inc VAT and labor. Ouch! Garage is trying to get Porsche to contribute (again! - they already did to a water leak that did a lot of damage)
Does anyone have recommendations of garages that might be able to fit a refurbished gearbox or do a repair? I live near Cirencester (South Cotswolds) and work near Heathrow, so anything in that corridor

Background: Noise from gearbox and jerking gear change up under heavy acceleration. Porsche dealer has check and says the "Value Block" in the gearbox is the main fault but have spoken to Porsche who advice this has likely damaged the gearbox and the underlying problem may be due to the gearbox ECU, hence need to replace the whole gearbox and its ECU at £4100, otherwise fix might be temporary
