Hi again,

2 weeks into ownership & then this yesterday when starting:-

It's being transported back to Porsche Bristol. They're good guys there so they'll sort it but any ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Simon

If we are starting a book then my money is on an electrical fault around a sensor somewhere. With 4 wheel steer, PDCC, PASM etc etc there is a lot of tech in these cars these days

Yes, I reckon so. Then again because it has front axle lift it might be something mechanical. I'll find out tomorrow.

I had a similar fault come up on my Gen 1 car shortly after delivery. As I recall, I adopted the Microsoft approach of switching everything off and waiting 10 minutes. In my case it worked but I did get OPC to check it out and clear any fault messages in the OBD. Never heard a peep out of it again.

Hope yours proves equally simple to resolve.

Hi,

Reason why the warning came up is for something I won't admit to.

Such as when I was driving it home, first time after handover during the hour long trip I won't admit that 30 minutes into it I kerbed the front nearside alloy in a moment of inescapable stupidity. I won't then admit that because I was so shocked and didn't want to continue the journey I called out Porsche recovery to trailer it back to Bristol OPC. No that never happened I keep telling myself and will never admit to anyone.

The wheel damage was actually quite minor but of course the car had been jacked up during the time the wheel was off being refurbished by their body shop.

After the second more successful trip back home without any more damage the following morning the sensors monitoring the shock absorber noted that the car had been in an unusual attitude and flagged up the message.

All that was done to sort that was to clear it and let the system start over.

The wheel looks perfect and I can't see any signs of the kerb scuffing that of course never happend except in my mind I wonder.

Don't worry, we all have selective amnesia on here, I seem to remember, I think, maybe
