Well, Lancerlot now owns only 1 997 and his ex Turbo is sitting on my driveway. I'm just waiting for the floods to subside before trying it out :) Thanks Clive!

Yes, very nice Richard. Great car. You'll have to come an event when these two (below) are in attendance.............![:D]

Thanks for the kind comments guys. First run, just into town today. This PDK 'box in fab!!! Normal changes are imperceptible and the car always seems more willing than the Gen 1 tip. I think that I'm going to like this even more than the first one (if that is possible) :) !!

Oh yes, chalk=tip, cheese= PDK. It is paddles on that one, is it not? Hardly, if ever, use auto on mine. It gets better and better the more familiar you become, of course.[:)]

Ditto those comments - on track PDK is just awesome - it's never caught out. I've driven both manual and auto on the track (Sports Plus enabled) and to be honest I could easily focus on my lines better whilst being totally flattered by the auto doing it's stuff.

I think now I'll have the paddles I'll be able to enjoy manual more on track than using the puddles.

Whilst I've never driven the 991 (and don't wish to now) I wonder how improved the PDK is now given it's going into the new GT3?

Just don't use Sports Plus on the road in auto mode - people will think you can't drive when they see it kangarooing! [:)]

Using the paddles (yes - it is paddles) will take some getting used to as I would like to stop washing the windscreen at the same time I change up :) . As for Sport +, I will have to try it of course, if only to re-acquaint myself with the launch control feature!

Well done you will love it

Fantastic colour clearly a man with taste !!

As Alan says you will have to come to an event we are all at and if we can get Tom as well 4 in a row would be some photo.

In Simon's terms that that would take pure sex to a new level !!!
