Gen2 turbo Wheels

I am going to look at a 997.1 Turbo tomorrow which has been upgraded with the standard Gen2 wheels. I need to check these are genuine Porsche wheels preferably without removing them.

I read somewhere that there is a Porsche inscription stating the rim size, offset etc on the back of the spoke nearest the valve but that this is visible without removing the wheel.

Does anyone know how easy it is to read this inscription without removing the wheel? I assume that the copies of these wheels does not have this inscription!

Thanks for any advice.

Steve.

It's where the spoke meets the hub on the wheel - the first one anti clockwise from the valve. You will need a mirror and (possibly) a torch to see it with the wheel on the car though!

Hi, I've taken some pictures of mine. If you PM me your email I will send them over.

Don't think I can upload from my phone to the forum easily.

Many thanks for your help. The wheels look to be genuine and totally unmarked like the rest of the car. Deposit down and picking her up next week!
Thanks,
Steve.

Thanks for taking the time to take some pictures. Sorry, I didn't see your post before I left to view the car, anyway the numbers were found and seem to be good.
