Genuine nearside wing prices.

Has anybody bought a genuine nearside wing lately ? I noticed today my wing has started to bubble quite quickly (it wasn't like it a month ago) and the car is going in for some paint very shortly so now seems like the best time to replace it.

I'm aware that its had a repair panel previously, as the drivers side wing has been replaced just over a year ago so I thought id complete the set.

I think I would rather go with a complete wing seeing as this one has been repaired once already and the other wing has been replaced during my ownership. Somebody on Tipec mentioned the non genuine panels that are being sold, has anyone on here fitted one?

Classic Car panels do seem to fit, but I'd argue that the front wing section is as cheap for a decent bodyshop to fabricate if it's a small repair.

There in lies part of my problem, the car is going in for paint rectification via my insurers for the 3rd time. As the previous two attempts have been via body shops chosen by myself they now want to use their approved repairer, whilst they will be painting the wing I don't think they will want to attempt repairing the wing as they are used to more modern vehicles.

I got a price from OPC for front wings a few weeks ago, these are early type, not S2 or Turbo, price quoted includes pensioners discount ....

I bought a pair of the "pattern parts" Turbo wings mentioned earlier in the thread.

They're excellent OEM quality and have Porsche part number stickers on them. Given I've never seen any steel "pattern" wings ever before I'm led to think this may be similar to the time I bought a new radiator with the Porsche part number half-arsedly ground off.

The guy on the Facebook groups is selling them at £400 the pair I think. From his comments they're new in and he doesn't yet have feedback on the fit, but at that price there's obviously room for some fitting costs.
