Thanks to all the helpers who were at Haigh Hall today for another successful German Classics Car Show.

Especially the team that were on site at 8.30 to erect the gazebo's, put out the display and boards. Thanks also to all the ladies who brought along food and refreshments, and to the team who so efficiently dismantled the display and packed things away.

Congratulations to Mike Trotter (BoxsterS) on winning Concours (after driving almost 100 miles through torrential rain for part of the journey).

Scoring was very close with runner up being Jeremy Heney's GT3.

A special commendation also for Adrian Stuart for his 991 Cabriolet.

Competitors choice was Sean Conboy's 930 Turbo.

Next years event will be back to its usual date of 9th August, so put it in your diary now

Have to say, very deserved win for mike.

I'll let him clean mine next year!! [;)][:D]

Very magnanimous !!

Not easy to judge for sure, very close but Mike just edged it with a good cash bung ;-)

Many thanks to David and all the R18 team, very enjoyable event.

Congratulations to all the winners! Thoroughly deserved in our opinion.

A good day all round and we have to say we were very lucky with the weather. Thanks to a great team for clearing up at the end of the event, but that's Region 18 for you.

The only fly in the ointment was an incident somewhere on the M6 going home (there's a surprise!) which meant we had to divert through Preston to avoid it.

Well done Mike, if the concours is ever held near Carlisle no-one is going to stand a chance.
