Sod it - I was in my OPC last Saturday morning (Mid Sussex) and didn't see them! Did get 10% PCGB discount on my brake fluid change though!

They can also prove to be quite hazardous in the wrong hands: A good neighbour of ours (Let's call him Richard) had been quite ill recently and had spent some time (resting) somewhere in the Cotswolds. The toll of a high pressure job and a large busy family had got him down a bit and the general consensus of opinion was that he should avoid being around anything sharp.

On his return home he had filled up with fuel and picked up his shiny new red Ferrari F430 (Spider). On seeing the car his son immediately asked his father if he could borrow it. After a huge amount of persuasion Richard finally relented and told his son to take the greatest of care with the car.
What ensued can only be described as carnage. Richard went for a shower while his son went off with the car and within a few minutes he heard an almighty screech followed by a bang. His son had given the car the beans on a notorious right-hander between the hall and the kitchen and lost the arse-end. The car ended up sliding along the parquet on its roof and finally coming to rest entwined in the undergrowth of Augustus Octavianus (By which I mean the furry belly of Richard's pedigree Golden Retriever - AKA "Bonzo"). Startled, the dog bolted through an open door and onto the street pursued by an otherwise naked Richard with nothing but his right hand to cover his tackle yelling, "For God's sake, someone stop Augustus!! He's getting away with my Ferrari!!"

No animals were harmed, etc...

I hope if your car is older than five years you also got 25% off the labour cost as well as 10% on parts!

Sadly no John, the car is 3.5 years old but they gave me 10% of the total price for the job as opposed to 10% of the cost of the fluid which is a departure from the last time as I remember only parts being discounted.
