...now we are two!

My son got his driver´s license today. His first drive in public traffic was in an aircooled 911 - in style, I think. (No no, not the Cup car, it was a 993 Convertible)

Working hard to keep the youth away from the kettles.

Rgds,

You have a driver for Spa now Hacki! See you there at the bar!

Congratulations on your son's success.

He can now drive you around to parties.

Hacki, congrats for him - but what does it cost to insure a new driver in a 911??!! Over here a 17 year old in a 1.1 ltr 3 door hatch has to fork out over £1,000 per year (and the car's worth half that!).

Asssume named driver and he won't invade Poland[;)] ... but guess a youngster to Insure in Germany will be sheds less than here ......

Hehe, my father advised me that I should go around the Spa track the day I got my license. [;)]

I know, but the 'Ring is near enough, no? [;)]

Funny that the old thread was dug out today, because today (yes, today!) my other son picked up his license!

No problem here to have insurance for young drivers, it´s just a small extra amount of money, not too much. But it´s still my contract, so, if a young driver wants to sign his own insurance contarct, that´ll be expensive.
