Very neat.

I am wondering if my 18 inch cups and 35 profile tyres are over egging it a bit. One of the things which became immediately apparent was that the grip on the much wider tyres shows up the suspension as being on the soft side, (or worn side) and at high speed hard cornering makes the outer side of the car bob a bit, much like when my Audi 500 blew a front shock.

So the next project is too see to the 17 year old bushes, mountings, and dampers. The three dot white springs are one of the firmest springs fitted to the 944, but not much assistance if the shocks are shot, and the service record shows no shock replacement.... so.

At last its home, and boy does it feel fast. You forget after a few months that for sure.

Must say it was looking pretty clean yesterday, and the tyres were barely warm when you pulled up ? not like you at all, suppose it will take a little bit of getting used to again, turbo tastic []
