In with the new:

? [;)]

Hopefully be with me in the next 2-3 weeks.

Anyone want to make a guess?

Or you might already know if you read other Porsche webboards...

Ok as most of you Porsche owners get scared by the near mention of 'aftermarket', you probably don't know how to guess on this subject. So I will fill you in [:D]

My 3 year old HREs had some paint peeling, and can be fixed for free under warranty (4 years!). But as I don't have a spare set of wheels that meant sending them away for 3 weeks to get them re-finished and having a car in storage somewhere on bricks - SO - HRE offered to trade in my wheels for some new ones. Therefore I am taking this opportunity to get a huge discount on new wheels and changing them slightly.

I am ordering some 19" P40 (again) but this time in charcoal gloss with a brushed face.

So like this:

But with this finish:

Should be stunning!

Your choice in wheels can not be faulted. Will look stunning. Again!!

Its good that HRE have a supportive warranty policy unlike some manufacturers we know

Alex, I can see why you were tempted. Can't wait till you post the old vs new pictures. When I read the post I thought you were trading in your car but alas just more aftermarket enhancements. Good on you for extending the Porsche envelope and being fearless in doing so.

Thanks Bob. Yes, HRE Managing Director Alex has been looking after me personally - THE benchmark in aftermarket service!

Hi Max, yes literally new wheels. I would have traded my car when I tested the Turbo S afew months back, but the S was ÂŁ70k in cash for a less capable car. So 'alas y not'.

Alex

Fab wheels, HRE's are my favourite aftermarket wheels[:D]

I am with unclewinks thoguh - when are you getting the full bodykit......[:-]

When I once again have more money than sense. May take a while despite my sense levels being pretty low.

Car finally delivered back to me this week.

Crappy pic as still a bit ill this week and the car is filthy. Luckily OPC is cleaning it for me for free on Sat [:D]
