Well, to be fair to Goldtrack , it was the weather, not their fault [;)]

I was only there for some tuition from Sean Edwards and also to get some new Toyos fitted by TrackClub

Sean got stuck in Dubai or Saudi or some camel trading place , he must have done something really bad as they would not give him his passport back to return to UK and get to Bedford [8|]

Was in the 964RS but would have been better off in any modest FWD with road tyres....there was a racing Fiat 500 on the track that would embarass many supercars , dont know the spec.

Anyway , got some pictures of cars for you , most of them with almost human facial expressions [:D]
First up a very ORANGE Ginetta

The Ginetta's good mood was echoed by this white one and my black one

Then there was a SPYKER which did not go out ..was looking a bit sulky....garage princess ???

Last but not least a thoroughly UPSET Ferrari that went off into an earth banking....[:(]

Ginetta looks super! Arent they lovely cars these days! I'm guessing its a G40, so new this season?

Yes , new this season Hugh , and entered for a race series for a lucky lad by his father.....who came up to me and expressed an interest in the 964RS , would like his lad to graduate to historic sports car racing. The dad said the brand new car was about 30k , entry for the race series was 9k , and they budgeted a further 10k for consumables.
Sounds cheap ? The Ginetta seemed to go well anyway , the lad looked a lot younger than Sean Edwards , wait till the stress accumulates [:D]

Sorry your trackday was wet John --- I was chasing a Fiat 500 Abarth at a very wet Rockingham in a Caterham Superlight, and it was astonishingly fast !

Rockingham was so wet, at lunchtime we had to buy a certain gent by the name of Tim Arnold, a new pair of trousers !

Being a Yorkshireman I wanted to ring out his old ones but, [;)]

Thank goodness, for us it was dry in the afternoon.

Yeah sounds like Sean was having a nightmare....heres his post on facebook on Saturday[:D][:D][:D]

Back from lunch on a boat and Jetskiing in Abu Dhabi, great fun until we started to sink LOL! Abandon ship.......!!!

Doesnt sound bad at all for that level of racing. Always been happy to trade fibreglass in the G50s, I wonder what the budget is for that! :)

John

Very good to meet you at Bedford and thanks for the info on the baffles. I had a long chat with Will this morning so I am going to try the "home made" route first and if that doesnt work he can get his fabricator to make some up to get past the dreaded noise police! Lovely car you have there too...

Hi Stuart - thanks , I did not get a picture of yours but it was something special in 'hellgelb'.....I like the way you got it to change direction in the slow corners while coping with 'stirring the pudding' in a 915 box.

I had to take my own 915 boxed vehicle for an MOT yesterday , so got it out for the short but time consuming run to Jaz at Wemberleyyy. Steve Winter has a tame MOT man who does not quibble over vinyl numberplates stuck to underside of front bumper ....can recommend Jaz as place to look after your car as they are performance literate on the MFI fuelled oldies [:D]
