Glass rear screen?

Guest

New member
June Classic & Sports Car has a suitably respectful 'Porsche Supertest'. The Boxster featured (an '88 2.5) is said to have "a glass rear screen in place of the plastic original"... although the pictures show a car wearing a hard top, so maybe that's all they mean. Is a glass for plastic swap possible?

Cheers,

David

Sure is, there are a few companies that do it.

Essential Styling and Jasmine to name two.

Not sure on price, around £700 if I remember correctly.

Hi David
I have had the new glass rear screen roof upgrade fitted by Essential styling last week and am really pleased with it.It takes a day to do it.

Thanks all for the prompt replies - will certainly think about it...

Thanks for the 'non-member' tip too - I've emailed my details to the club office.

Cheers
