Glove box arms/supports

Hi all,

When I bought my 968 I knew that it didn't have the supporting arms for the glove box. This is now getting irritating, so I'm looking for some replacements. I can find them on US sites and from US e-bay sellers, but was wondering if anyone on here knows where I can get hold of them in the UK.

If you do, please let me know.

Cheers,

Tom

Tom - that makes two of us needing the same parts. It's embarrassing when the door drops on the knees of a passenger...

So, anyone got a couple of sets on offer?

Just had a look in PET, it does not show the arms as separate parts, just as part of the glove compartment cover. Page 212 of E-968-Katalog.pdf which you can download from Porsche.com.

Have you tried the breakers like porschapart / porscherecycled?

Good luck with the hunt and let us know how you get on.

I thought the plastic were available from Porsche for pennies, try Exeter PC. Porscheshop used to do the metal ones so might be worth calling them, even if they're not in stock they might get some in of there's a demand.

There used to be a UK based suplier. But i cant remember just who it was..
Maybee [Prestige parts], if there still going.??

Just googled them and here you go,,,,

http://www.prestigeparts.co.uk/

Select 968 and then interior then scoll down the page, et voila....

Superbe, thanks all! Porscheshop don't have any but I'll check out the breakers first, then call Prestige if I have no luck!
Thanks again!

Prestige Parts dont do them any more, we have 2 sets left, then thats it!;
