Glove box light

I know this sounds silly, but I have acquired a 944S2 Cab and on removing the glove box light, which wasn't, I find not only is the bulb missing, but also part of the light assembly. It has the switch mechanism with two spade connectors one having a tab with a hole, presumably for one end of a festoon bulb, both connectors are the same polarity, one switched, the other direct, but the whole thing is too short for a normal bulb. Does anyone have a picture of the thing?

I would recommend disconnecting the battery when fiddling with this light ... I burnt the same fuse twice ...[8|]

Yeh, yeh yeh. We all read the advice that tells you to disconnect it first, ignored it and then bought a new fuse! [:D][:D][:D][:D]

Sometimes I wonder if I'm wasting my time giving out advice that I rarely listen to myself.......[]

Happened to me but only once, very fiddly getting the glove box back in without the contacts shorting on each other. The pip switch also gets very sticky with age which tends to stop it from working properly in a semi-random fashion.
