This car is still being advertised at Gmund...is it a real Clubsport? spec seems to differ...£55,000 would seem a bargain.

Curious that the cage appears to have the double cross side bars of the cup cars, as does the white "clubsport"(?) advertised at another yorkshire based Porsche dealer.
best way to tell would be to find out if it had the 003 option on the under front lid sticker of service book.
I would have thought the car would have either sold by now or be a reasonable deal at that price if it was a non modified standard spec clubbie.

At that money totally confused if it's real....yes the cage is non N-GT Clubsport and looks Cup...or could you get the Cup Cage in a 993 Clubbie? The GT2 Body looks just flared, and not the bolt on wings

On later cup cars I have seen the cage is matter, porsche 911RS then serial numbers.......on a CS it appears to be model 911RS/993 m003

I would assume the car may be based on a cup shell or they have added the extra bracing bar to a CS cage?...As suggested earlier M003 present or not on the documentation will provide answers.
You interested in it Des....fancy something a little quicker? [:D]

Best thing to do is wait until RSR see's the post as it is his old car. Sure he will be able to give the lowdown on it.

If that is the case then it is a genuine CS, I remember Paul telling me so.......maybe the race team modded the cage then? I didn't recognise it as previously it had a more agressive RSR race style front end on the car.

If I remember correctly, the wings are moulded and the bolts are added for effect.

There is a white Clubsport at Sean Lockyear for £61k.

This car was my own toy which I only sold to buy my GT2-R. It was heavily modified when I had it and I was the 2nd owner. I have no idea of its current spec. I bought it with 23k km's on it (14k miles). It was an ex race car which needed work. I have extensive pics of it during the process. I fitted new GRP GT2 evo front wings, GRP bonnet, GT2 evo front end and carbon splitter. It had a CUP spec engine (non varioram), 380mm floating front brakes, H&R bouble spring suspension, sold rear subframe mounts, 100L safety bag tank, twin OMP ally fire extinguishers fully plumbed in. The extra cross bar on the cage was added by the first owner (German race team). It has (had?) full FIA papers in the form of the German ONS wagen pass with a record of its race history.

Christ - didn't even recognise it as Paul's car, and have been looking at it/considering it for a while, without the rear spoiler and front splitter.

If I'd known I'd have been more serious....knowing how highly Paul thought of it. Wonder how much has been changed

Paul/Keith what was the mileage when you sold it.

Paul how long is the engine good for before a rebuild if cup spec....and knowing Keith drove it[;)][;)]

Seems a good buy on the basis the people who own it end up with GT2's!!!
