Hi Guys,

I had to go to a business meeting in Godalming in Surrey about 4 weeks ago and as I was a nice sunny day I thought I'd take my 3.2 Targa. Anyway on my way back to Redhill I thought I'd pop into Camtune to have a quick look round.
Well they had an arena red 993 varioram with 18 inch turbo wheels, I must have been looking at quite longingly because the salesman appeared and said "like to take her for a run Sir"
Well not one to turn an offer like that down I agreed and a while later we were off.
We took quite a long drive covering A and B roads and Motorway, and to tell the truth I was impressed. This was my first ever drive in a 993 and it was quite nice to be able to change gear quickly which I could never do in my 915 'boxed 3.2. (Takes a while to get used to 6 ratios too!)
So a deal was done and my 3.2 Targa Sport that Iv'e owned for 9, yes 9 years was traded in.
Do I miss it? Yes of course you don't own a car like that for that long and not miss it, but as soon as you fire up the 993 you soon get over the pining!
I'll still be a frequent visitor to this Section of the forum though.
I'll also be putting a selection of 3.2 stuff on ebay this week if anyone is interested.
All the best
Glenn

Good luck with the 993, it's a geat car, used a friends for a couple of weeks, just excellent very user friendly but still a real sports car if you know what I mean
