Hi ! I will be driving thru Wales next week; Brecon Beacons > Aberaeron , then back via Abergavenny. Any suggestions as to the best driving roads would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

That's great, thanks very much. Hope the weather impoves a bit, otherwise at this rate i'm going to be needing snow chains! [&:]

EVO triangle a bit far north me thinks

have a look here http://www.pointandsquirt.co.uk/roads-wales.html

Fforest Fawr definitely in reach, as is Wye valley.

Berwyn is great too, if you like single track and 200ft drops to the side [:D]

Devils Bridge (Ellan Valley) not too far north from Aberaeron, (A4120 south west of Aberystwyth)

Follow this with the A470 frrom Rhayader towards Builth Wells (cut onto B4358) and then A483 to Llandovery. Then turn onto A4069 through Llangadog to Brynnaman (the TopGear test route over the Brecons)

Thanks very much. The friend i'm going with thought likewise, so we'll probably do something similar to what you're suggesting.

Berwyn sounds like fun... must remember to pack the parachute .....just in case [:-]
