Good Servicing Garage

Hi all,

I am looking for a good place that my friend from work can service his Boxter.

It is a 2000 model year and he wants a 35k service. It has already had the major 24k service. Surely a local garage could do this? He is located in the Stratford Area.

Please advise any places other than a Porsche Dealer that could do this.

Thanks.

Not really local for Stratford but I have used Two plus Two in Brierley Hill 01384 482989, Fax 482979, (Near to Merry Hill shopping centre) for oil/filter changes. The businesess is run by two ex OPC, Porsche trained, mechanics who appear to know their stuff. They have access to the Porsche online parts catalogue, but I'm not sure whether they have all the latest diagnostic support kit. Rates are competitive, about half OPC, at £25/hour.

Edited to correct tel # - as per TJW964's post.

I use Two Plus Two also. Have done for 2 to 3 years on my 964. They have Boxters in there quite a lot. Give them a call. They will tell you what needs doing, what will need doing and what has been done. Or at least they do on mine. Top guys. Excellent service. Believe me, I don't say that about many, no, make that ANY garages. Usually a grudge purchase. At least you know you motor is being well looked after there.

Car was dealt with by PCT according to book before. Prices seemed a bit higher and TPT seemed to find things they had missed, but could have been previous owner had chosen to leave things until he sold, either way, TPT sorted them out without fuss and talked me through every step of the process.

Contact is Chris or Dave on 01384 482 989
Tell them I sent you, still won't get a discount, but nice to know they get recommendations.
