Good VFM power upgrade?

One thing is for sure, Vitesse products do what they say on the tin and John's talent is not necessarily in the turbo side of things but will be in the ECU/chip side of things which is what is needed to get the best out of the turbo, though I see that to get those power figures he was using an aftermarket exhaust, so that's another chunk of cash, but looks good.

I agree with scott... John knows his stuff when it comes to the ECU, I have the =Vitesse MAF with PB, plus other stuff of course and I'm making over what John shows here and I'm still on the stock exhaust and headers although I do have an aftermarket tail section. As I have said in another post , the only thing holding me below 400bhp is the exhaust and yes it's on my very long shopping list...[:)][:)][:)]

Vittesse products do work (I have the MAF and PB too) and John gives fantastic support but I can't see how a K26 type turbo running at only 14psi is going to hit 345bhp. My personal view is that US dynos read an awful lot higher than ours do and generally when you compare US cars with ROW cars with the exact same mods then you should regard their RWHP figure to be the same as our BHP figure.

I'd love to see that kit on your car though Ben [:)]

Me too! The plans has always been just to get over the magic 300bhp mark - one day. But this sounds like such good value. A Promax stage 2 kit should just about get me to 300bhp for about £785, so it's maybe fairly even?
