Hello turbo ownership[8D].

Pictures to follow. On a side note it has pcm1.5 (sat nav thing) with an autochanger, do they not play mp3 songs?

Cheers

Chris

Well done Chris! Look forward to seeing the photos.

No, the CDC3 won't play mp3 CDs. Nor will the CDC4 used in later cars. Take a look at the Solisto web site, as there are a couple of options for connecting a USB stick ot iPod.

As in connecting an iPod to the standard sat nav? Also is there if different manual as a previous owner had lost it and replaced it with a careers 1 pre facelift book.

I believe you can connect an iPod to PCM1 with the Solisto.

You can order a new handbook from an OPC. I got one for my Turbo from them, as I found the one which came with the car was a 2003 manual, so it was replaced at some time. It was about £10 iirc.

By the way - your signature needs editing!

Hi Chris,

Out of interest what happened to the C2. Nearly took the plunge myself but backed off as not too happy to sell at the reduced price, particularly as its recently had some cash spent on it. Did you sell privately or is there good part exchange prices available.
Anyway, enjoy the turbo, I'm sure I will get there one day!

Kind of a bit of both, i managed to partex it privatly as the seller figured it was easier to sell a C2 than his turbo. I managed to get £9700 for it which i thought was pretty good.

Edit1 thanks richard i wasn't sure if the turbos came out slightly before the facelift or part of it.

Edit2 I would like to go on more runs but my wife works saturday mornings and i quite enjoy taking it easy on sundays. If you could somehow make the week 8 days long it might give me enough time[:D]

Re ipod dock. for about £10-15 you can buy a small radio transmitter that docks with the ipod and plugs into 12v to keep the ipod charged. You then tune your radio to recieve the signal from the transmitter, usually somewhere in the 107mhz range....been using it on my 944 for about 3 years.

Do you leave it plugged in or do you disconnect it everytime you leave your car? Also does the club still do valuations? I tried searching for it but the search feature on these forums is a bit hit and miss.
