Goodwood 74 MM

Just wandered if any one is going the 74th Members Meeting at Goodwood this Saturday as would be good to see a few fellow Porsche enthusiasts.

I am hoping to be there on Sunday........
Just swapped my 981 Boxster S for a New 991.2 Carrera 4, so really looking forward to the trip down there.

Great, hope to see a few of you there as I might be going on Sunday as well now so let's hope it warms up, although that might create some interesting track action with cold tyres.

Enjoyable day at Goodwood
fantastic to see the Porsche 917's being used as intended and the formula 1 ground effect cars demonstration from the 80's were awsome- what a sound --plus 1'03" for a lap of Goodwood apparently in testing - having driven a few much slower laps myself on track days that seems insanely fast in 35 year old machinery
will try to load some video footage later

Ditto, had a great weekend & always good to see the cars do what they were built for racing round the track. Not sure what my favourite was though, either the 356 which was very tempting in the Bonhams Auction or the Mk1 Escort which reminded me of my youth. See pictures above.

Yes, another good weekend, although the driving standards/abilities issues surely can't be ignored for much longer. There were a number of Porsches in the auction but only two sold, the black 912 at £33,350 and the red 911S at £121,460, both figures (here including the premium) within their estimates. The beautiful 356 Speedster above didn't reach its projected £240,000-280,000 - it must have been that chip on the steering wheel! There were lots of Porsches within the circuit and here are some that caught my eye.
