Chris,

I also went down (after having stopped at the A3 services which were too full with Porsches etc and so nowhere to park!) but I went ahead alone.

I have to say that overall I was dissapointed.

Having gone into the "themed cars" entrance at 09.00 the place was already overflowing and I ended up parking in the public carpark at 09.30. Had I known this (or not been so grand [:D]) I could have gone direct to this and saved time.

I did see a coned off area of Porsches, was that for club members? If so, perhaps my mistake was not sitting it out at the services and travelling down en masse.

I queued for 20 minutes for breakfast before giving up and queueing for 15 minutes elsewhere for a burger (by which time the Spyker had left)!

In the main arena the vast majority of cars did seem to be either the same model Astons or Ferraris. The good cars (IMHO) were all parked around the periphery.

Re Superbikes, I saw a gaggle of Bimota motorcycles on the way in, but could not find them and in fact the bike park seemed to have nothing but everyday bikes in it with the exception of one Laverda Jota and a Ducatti 1098R.

Being a very keen supporter of both the FoS and Revival, which are brilliantly organised, I am not encouraged to go again for the breakfast.

I did have a nice run back with a Lotus Elise and a Merc SLK though.

I went a few years ago, boy was it busy !!
Doesn't look like its changed..
Great for visitors and bacon sales though [;)]
