Great to meet some other R23 members at the Bentley car show on Sunday and see some of your lovely cars.

I mentioned that I was going to the PCGB Track Day at Goodwood on Tuesday 19th August "" just for the afternoon, although I plan to get there by about 11.00.

If anyone else is going "" a couple of you did say you might "" then please post back here or drop me a text on 07740 946619 "" so I'll look out for you.

I'm a completely new member so this will be my first track day...can't wait. I'm going to have a morning at the Porsche Experience Centre next week, but if anyone has any tips for a rookie please do share!

Cheers

Thanks for the tip...lol...but you might have a point...after I booked it i read it was the fasted track on the track day timetable. But as well as the Silverstone session next week, I will book some coaching on the day at Goodwood and take it easy(ish) to start with.

My car is a 62 plate 981 Boxster with PASM, PTV, sports chrono, 20"wheels etc

Are you going on the 19th?

Bump? Is there a bump on the track I should look out for? I hope I don't have any bumps with others on-track. Expecting gentlemanly conduct from all...

Are you going Steve?

Last call for anyone else going. I'm now setting off from home (Eastdean) aiming to get to Goodwood for 11ish. I have just booked the afternoon session. If anyone fancies a gentle cruise over get in contact here, or my mob is 07740 946619.

What a great location for my first track day. Iconic. Stunning scenery. Planes flying in and out of the aerodrome - including a Spitfire.

Concise instruction from a chap called Alan. Took it easy(ish) to start with but soon going pretty full on. Great fun. Very well organised. Thanks to all involved especially Steve from PCGB. Still buzzing. Here are a few snaps of my Boxster and the day.
