I was suposed to bring this up during the sit down at sundays meeting.
On easter monday at goodwood motor circuit, the Goodwood Road Racing Club host there yearly spring sprint.
The event is a time trial (not a race) around goodwood motor circuit. Participants from the GRRC enter some rare+modern cars, spanning 100 years of motor racing history, and providing the weather is good it has proved to be an enjoyable day out. The event itself is a FREE event, so no charges on the gate, just park up at the circuit and watch. The vitra cafe' is open to the public for Breakfast and lunch. But its nice to bring a picnic as there are grass verges to sit down on while viewing the action.(providing the weather is good). In addition there will be an Aerobatic Air Display by Goodwoods very own WWII Harvard.
Now its not on the same scale as the festival of speed or the revival, but it is a nice way to spend your bank holiday, and is a good drive out. See you there Monday 24th March.
