Ok I know your not all gonna find this as fun as me but just doing the usual with google earth, updating and all that kind of things and I thought I'd check out my house...and now the new update has my nice shiny clean 944 in the driveway

Didnt think about this at first but i guess this would fit in the porsche spotting thread

Mine shows the old van, gone for 3 years, the old Legacy, gone for 2 years, no 944 - had it for 4 years but might have been out of course.

Also missing 5 rooms we had built 18 months ago....[&:]

Interesting point as we're moving at the moment. All the houses we get sent we look at on GE to see the location, garden etc. but it can be very out of date. Best we've had yet was a lovely converted chapel. The agent's pics cunningly avoid the fact it has a graveyard in the very small garden! GE would have saved us a journey had this been a problem. As it is we're viewing it tomorrow....I'll be wearing black and playing Bauhaus' "Bela Lugosi's Dead" on the cd [:)]

That's marginally better - the building work is halfway through so about May 2006. At least the right car and van are there!

Goes to show you need to use a little caution with these sites as things can change quite dramatically over the years.

Last time I looked properly I could see my Turbo in two different locations - my driveway, and on the forecourt at Jon Mitchells garage [:D]

Maybe I should look again and see if I can spot it at Croft Coachworks Ferndown as well [:(]

http://www.flashearth.com/ allows you to choose from a number of on-line picture services at the click of a mouse. It is amazing how some of them differ.

Oli.

Went onto this site, even older than Google Earth. It shows a single garage, double has been up for at least five years. No shed, first one went up over seven years ago.

Cheers,
