I purchased a Gopro motorsport a while back, adding the wifi remote made it so much easier to use, hopefully the app will make it better still!!
Waited a fair while for its launch []
Hi Gary,
Is the app compatible with the Hero 2 only?

From my understanding the App is only HD2 but the wifi remote is both both HD and HD2

HD3 coming soon, very soon..
Anyway I found it easy to use except that setting it up took me ages and I ended up with upside down video because of the mounts I used as I could not easily find how to have the camera fix it (which it will do) on the menu - something for a winter's evening but easily fixed with post-production video software.

Ralph, make sure the latest software is on the camera, makes the menu seem a bit easier..
I found the flip function but as mentioned I usually flip it in post production.
Just looking at getting a mic for it, to get the sound sorted... []

HD3 coming soon, very soon..
Now on the 'wait list', maybe I should have asked for factory collection.
I did however find an on-line coupon for 10% discount []
