Well after 4-6 months searching for all manor of cars, my true dream car was purchsed and driven home today.

95 M, 74 k, Silver, silver trim, 993 Turbo.

I had never driven a 993 before but I read so much about them I just knew it was for me and I must admit its everything I expected.

Its the same car I wanted info on earlier and after another inspection I realised I was being very harsh with my thoughts and description. I drives like new and just needs a few minor cosmetics and a new clutch next week.

I am so happy..Many thanks for all the great advice from Gordon, hes been a great help.

Hope to join the Porsche Club and do some meets in the future now. But for now I am off for some wine as I have a cracking headache from the stress and joy of it all.

This has been a great site for my research and I doubt I would have purchased one with out it.

I can finally add a car under my name....

Well done, enjoy the dream still looking myself after nearly two years no rush has to be the right car at the right price and black.

Nice one mate, I BLESS THEE david58's 993 turbo. I hope all goes well.

Have fun, and it can only get better, spring is coming.[:D]

Thanks all will try and get some pics over the weekend,

Just been cleaning the interior to start with took nearly a whole day, good job the quality was there to start with, its scrub up really well. Good bit of advice, I steamed the overmats with a wallpaper stripper with a carpet cleaning head on it. Worked a treat, 5 mins each matt came up looking like new, but took a day to dry out.

Geoff, if we do meet one day, I hope you will take me for a spin in the GT3, I would love to know what one feels like. I hope your happy with it.

David.

Car looks great, as and when our paths cross I'd be delighted to take you for a spin in the GT3, on the condition that you take me out in your turbo for old times sake!
All the best
Geoff
