Got my Cayman 2.9 on weds from Porsche Exeter. Whole process handled very professionally. Soon as I saw it in the showroom I knew I was right to go with Arctic Silver and the Caymen S 18" alloy upgrade.
Still feeling my way with it driving wise, but it feels superb and definitely fast enough for me. Unfortunately I managed to ground the front spoiler on a steep-ish drive today []. It's made a horrible graze, but you can only see it by looking right under the car. Gutting all the same....

Hi Turbodog, Glad you got your car at last...thinking of joining the club??..Did the dealership make any mention of joining us etc... Would like to hear you feedback please.... Sorry to hear about the scrape...it happens to most of us unfortunately, sometimes when you are parking up to a kerb, and the tarmac drops away if you get too close! Grrr... It should be only the splitters... which are removeable....I'm having mine resprayed this year...

Hi Alan Afraid to say they didn't mention joining, although to be fair the salesman I did the deal with was on holiday so my handover was from the new finance manager who was clearly new to Porsche. What exactly are the splitters? And how easy are they to remove? bw Turbodog

Hi turbodog, Great aren't they? [:D] My Cayman S is just three weeks old and I'm loving it. Like you I've scrapped the bottom of the front splitter on a steep(ish) drive. Not badly scraped and not visible, but gutting all the same. The splitters are the aerodynamic extensions on the base of the front bumper. Anyway - enjoy! [:D]

I love it!!!!! I love everything about it. Saw the lovely pictures you posted of your carrera white 'S' a couple of weeks ago so here a couple of mine.....

Taking a camera with you when you pick up the car is such a good idea. Once outside you never quite seem to get the same level of shine. Enjoy the driving.
