Got my car back from garage today

As you can tell I got my car back from the garage today after only a weeks work. I had the Cams, Gear linkage and Hayward & Scott exhaust fitted to it. The old gear linkage was really badly worn and feels so much better now.
The Cams were rattling a bit but although they were worn they didn't look too bad considering that they have been in the car as far as I'm aware of since new which was 218,000 miles ago, which from what I've seen on the forum is very good going.
The exhaust seems a little quiet compared to the old one but does definatly have a distinctive sound to it although I haven't been over 3000RPM yet since getting it back, due to needing fuel so perhaps this might have something to do with it. The exhaust is a Decat and 3 inch oval so would of thought that it might have been a little bit louder maybe, does look good though and I am pleased with it but it just seems a little quiet.
Will post pics tomorrow when I take some.

Maybe your old box was so worn that all the baffling had deteriorated making it pretty noisy anyway? [&:]

It's good to hear of an original set of cams lasting well over 200k miles [:)] Do you happen to know how many times the cam chain had been changed?

Well I've driven it a little harder today as I've got some fuel now and can confirm that it is louder the harder I accelerate sounds very nice. It is also quieter at lower revs and cruising at motorway speeds very pleased with it indeed.

Anyway heres some pics of it not brilliant quality due to it being about to rain at the time of taking it.

Jon, how much was the rear box if you don't mind me asking? Its a nice that it still looks like the standard pipe.
