Got my car home for a bit

It's like having your kids home for the week!!!

I have my 912 out of storage and home for abit..

Now I can do a number of small jobs which I have been putting off doing since ......well ages ago..

next project which is looking a nightmare is the nurburg seats and the upgrade of seat belts

just bought a pair of rear quater covers from a 74 car which means I can fit inersha reel seat belts in the car!! but that's not straight forward.

and the seats I only have half a braket!!!

Arrr!!!

Polished mine the other day, wheels and all, nothing like the smell of Zymol in the morning [;)]

Funny how these cars start calling from the garage when there is work to do... keep thinking of all the little jobs that need doing, must get around to replacing all the light seals I have had for around two years and the carpet set and the stickers for the indicator stalks and... well you get the idea! We are all as sad as each other I guess! [:D]

But I just love to drive it!
 
[&:] once I got me new engine working then it will be a joy to drive at the mo it's a pig!! but I stop swearing at it once I hit 85mph!! [;)]

takes Ages to start grrrrrr.....

small list of Jobs to do

Change Gear box oil
Change front shocks
Change rear shocks
Change rear bushes
Lower the arse end
Rebuilt the orginal Motor
Loads of tin ware repair for the powder coater..
Fit the new seats
Fit the new seat belts with the 1974 rear quater panels
refit back seat
buy straps to stop them falling over and giving the shock of a life time to Jo every time we go out in and I brake for the first time!! [:D][:D]
Trim and refit the door pockets i have been meaning to do for about 2 years!!
retrim the dash!!
Fit that radio I got from David
Get the bonnet swaped over for the new one I have had for about 4 years!!!
look to add the Air con..

you know a few small jobs , about a weeks worth ish [&:]
