I would like to thank everyone who made my wife and I so welcome on our 1st meet with the group. I would also like to thank the gentleman who showed us his private collection of classic cars which was a privalige and a honour to see as a few were the only ones left in the World. Cant wait now to meet the R14 group again.
 
Gutted that I missed this meeting..! I'm guessing that the cars you viewed were in the Langland area? We did a similar meet there about four or five years ago and it was amazing. Next time...![;)]
 
Not too sure he had that at that point - if it is the same place(?). He had 2 (yes two) white merc 500 Gulwings - both left hookers as all the cars were. One of the Gulwings used to belong to an actress from LA in the 50's.... There was a Bentley there with no roof - sorry not aware of the technic term - which was apparently the only one in the world. Think he'd been offered a blank cheque by a Sultan but turned it down. Think I might have turned it Yes if it had been me..... Any pics available.....?
 
Yes it is the same guy and yes he did have two white mercs and only one is a gullwing and yes one was owned by a hollywood actress and that was the same model that Grace Kelly crashed and was killed in. The Bently was there and it is the only one in the world of that model made by that coach builder and yes its worth a fortune.
