911.1 Turbo S software version 45.63

In my case the database has never been updated and I have no idea how to do it or even if it is available at a reasonable cost. My handheld GPS updates over the internet for a nominal sum but I assume that this is unlikely for Porsche and will require a trip to the OPC at £190.80 per hour plus whatever the update costs.

Has anyone updated this version and what did it cost please?

When I enquired I was quoted £299 don't know if that was plus vat or not.
Managed to order the latest disc (supposedly 2019 but the maps seem to be a little older!!!) and purchased a code online for about £80.
The activation codes are specific to the vin number and the update disc can be ordered from your local opc.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated

My 997 Turbo had a separate place for the GPS disc but I cannot find one on my 991.1 where do you put the new disc please? Not sure why you need a separate code, does this not come with the disc when you order it?
