Hi All,

Here's a great driving route I found yesterday in my 991.1 that was so good I'd like to share it with you.
My destination was lunch at Fischer's of Baslow Hall (https://www.fischers-baslowhall.co.uk/), which is in the 2024 Michelin Guide.
I left Ashbourne at 11.15am and arrived at Fischer's about an hour later. The weather was dry and clear with blue skies. The roads were quiet and very enjoyable - not just to drive but in terms of the wonderful scenery too.
The A515 can be quite enjoyable, but the magic really starts once you turn off at the Arbor Low junction...
To summarise, the drive and restaurant were both exceptional. If you fancy doing this on a drive out let me know as I'd certainly do it again. It would also be very easy to add Chatsworth to the route, which is very close.

Here's the route:
A515 from Ashbourne towards Buxton
Turn right just before Parley Hay Refreshments onto The Rake (the Arbor Low turn off)
Drive through Monyash and onto Horse Lane
Right onto Grin Low
Left onto Kirk D
Right onto A6
Left onto A6020 at Ashford in the Water
Left onto the A619 towards Baslow
From Baslow follow the A623 towards Calver, Fischer's Baslow Hall is on your right.

Best, Chris
