Great drives

Hi all
Like many posters, I am sure this has been covered elsewhere so please be patient.
We had a real blast in the car on Saturday, dropped off the kids relatively early and set to pick them up late evening (in sunny Milton Keynes) and thought "where should we head for the day". Without much effort we said "the Cotswolds" and had a fantastic day out only marginally spoiled by the thousands of like minded souls.
But while we were out, we got thinking that surely somewhere out there there must be an app or a collection of great driving routes/roads (a bit like Strava for cyclists - where you can input rides/runs and others can use the same route).
I can google search "great drives" etc but that brings up lists and maps that could be anywhere in the Uk. We were after something that would start/end near us.
Does such a thing exist for the motorist?
Thanks!

There's plenty of biker website that offer great drives in the UK and Europe.. you click on map locations but that's as personal as it gets..

But if the drive was really that good, I wouldn't be putting it on a website for the local Feds to see....

There is an App in the Apple App Store called "Great Roads". Not fully checked out yet but may be what you are looking for.

I've tried the Great Roads app, it's built by the makers of Total 911 magazine, I've used it in the same way to answer the question, what's near me now when I've been travelling.

Thanks all. Gary - yes I did wonder that partly because one thing that makes Strava work is that people can race you on times for routes!. But we'd never do that.
