Great Roads in Wales

A bit late as we did this in April but just thought I'd post a thread about a short trip we did to Wales earlier in the year & I know this is preaching to the converted but to say how fantastic the 911's (old & new) are on the awesome roads of Wales. Here are a couple of video links to our 2 day trip, with Part 2 including some fellow 991 owners cars that we came across.

How nice to pick up your videos.

I'm just back from a long weekend in Mid Wales staying with mates who have a smallholding near Dolanog. In the dog car (Audi Allroad) on this trip so did manage a drive down Hellfire Pass in a Disco.

My mate used to be a pubican so still has his finger on the pulse as to where is good to go for a beer and food. His old pub was Cann Office Hotel at Llangadfan. Normally local beers on tap but when we went it was Doom.

For those travelling in this part Mid Wales try the Kings Head at Meifod. Recently transformed and now highly rated. For beer and ambiance at the bottom of Hellfire Pass in Dinas Mawddwy is the Red Lion. I stayed at Brigands Inn last year some 3 miles away. That’s also pretty good.

I plan to try to get a date in the diary for our special tour of the old Aston’s in next couple of months that Roddy was up for.

Cheers
