An old mate of mine (and ex rally driver) joined me on a trip to Scotland recently. He hacks into corporate computer systems for a living (at their request), but i'm convinced he wasted on that and should be a travel writer!

Sure! ...the write-up was the "tame version" of our driving exploits [;)] Suffice to say we drive it like we stole it...

Some years ago i did a couple of trips in my 911 up there, a bit more north west-ish, to Applecross, Torridon etc. I absolutely love it up there.

cheers
Nick

West is defiantly the best ...we as a region have done this trip on a few occasion and it is stunning can recommend Durness as a stop over,,,do not tell too many people we do not want the roads crowded with visitors[:D][:D]

Nick,

Yes, Scotland has many nice roads especially the ones with no speed cameras!! Next time you organise it you could come to one of our meetings!!! Honestly, contrary to what you've read, we are a very nice group of people, some even members!!!![;)]

Mr Cueman, you don't know what you're missing living up here!!! Good roads, our own language, wild Haggis squashed by the Porkers wide wheels etc etc!!!

A sight to behold!!![:D]
