Green Lane Run

As part of my drive to energise the Register, I am looking to arrange a green lane run in the Spring and am looking for expressions of interest.

The first idea is to go with the GrennLane.Org around the Peak District for a day.

Max four vehicles with two "instructors/support" vehicles from greenLane.Org.

Standard would be "novice" as I am not looking to test my car to the limit, but am looking for a nice day out!

Cost would be £35 per vehicle if we can get four vehicles.

Details at www.greenlane.org.uk

Feedback please.

Many thanks

Lazza

we are talking lanes (as in un made up roads) here as opposed to off roading arn't we ? []

sorry to be girlie but theres no way im off roading my own Cayenne

im presuming your talking about the "Novice" day out in the peak district?

=from web site,
This option consists of gentle driving through the byways with beautiful views of the peak district. No previous experience is required. Suitable for all drivers who have never been off-road. The day will cater for brand new vehicles as well as older vehicles as no damaging terrain will be en-countered.
When we stop for lunch there will be an opportunity to be a passenger in one of our vehicles, to experience what you would encounter on the intermediate level "" but hang on tight. (Subject to availability). If you love the countryside this is the one for you. No vehicle protection is required on this level.

If you don't mind a non-porsche 4wd attending, I'm up for it in my daily driver. You never know, it might come in useful for pulling you Cayenne drivers out of the sticky stuff......[:D]

Regards

sorry Oliver but as its one of Lazzas first events for the Cayenne register he is trying to keep this all Cayenne. need to get some good photos for the Porsche post to hopefully give the Cayenne register a bit of a boost.

we don't plan to go anywhere where we are likely to get stuck...hopefully[:-]

You are too late I asked first. Larry even refused the Landy with Cayenne running gear
installed.

too scared of you taking pictures off a Cayenne being pulled out of a field by a Landi.

Lazza would never live it down [;)][:D]

That's ok Helen - it was a bit of a tongue in cheek post anyway. Hope it's a fantastic day for you and just remember, whatever you do, never ever stop when the going gets a bit rough, because you'll never get moving again!! Oh, nearly forgot, wellies are a damn good idea, too!!

Regards
