Green liquid on garage floor...?

Noticed a small green deposit on my garage floor, mainly under the l/h side of the engine (looking from the rear), although there is a very small green deposit on the r/h side too...
I took the car out of the garage to wash it today and gave the underside of the engine a quick blast with the power washer and noticed that this seemed to encourage more of the green liquid to drip down, dripping from the exhaust mainfold.
Thought I'd get it washed and then get it back in to the garage, jack it up and have a proper look.

Topped up my coolant and ran the car for about 30 minutes, made sure she was nice & warm - still nothing. Nothing on the garage floor, no sign of any leakage in the engine bay, crawled around underneath with a torch, still nothing. Good inspection around the coolant reservoir...all appeared nice & dry.

Now, I have already replaced the coolant reservoir and cap, so it's not that old chestnut.
Also, my coolant is pink when it goes in...so how probable is it that the green depost on the floor is actually coolant.
The only green liquid that I can think of that goes in to the Porsche is the windscreen washer fluid, but that's at the other end of the vehicle, unless it's finding its way in to the rear-most drain channels, after I've given the windscreen a good blast while I'm driving...(I still need to attend to my windscreen washer system as I suspect the fluid is clogging up somewhere as I'm not getting the usual pressure through my jets - not sure if this is of relevance but thought I add it just in case)?

So, she's now tucked away for another week (as I'm presently working away from home during the week), the garage floor has been cleaned, but the mystery persists.

Any ideas guys?

Thanks.

In the past I have had radiator leaks with green liquid at both sides but at the front, and your coolant is not green.
Anyone been testing the aircon for leaks using a green dye?
Good luck...

No sure about the green fluid - but I did have a similar problem with my washers. It turned out to be the Porsche Screen Wash (which the OPC gave me with the car) that was causing the problem. I hardly use the car and they said that the wash additive tends to congeal in the bottom of the washer tank if the car stands for any length of time - which mine does. I ended up having a new washer motor under warranty.

If it is fluorescent green I'd say aircon: not sure from your description where it is coming from but my two leaks were both from the aircon pipes running along the right hand side underneath the car, at the bracket points (which capture moisture and dirt). If you have a UV torch the leak will be more obvious.
PS When I redid mine I nipped one of the seals. During my MOT it went and the green dyed aircon fluid went everywhere.

When i had green liquid leak from under my Grand Cherokee it was blue engine coolant that had been contaminated with Co2 i.e. engine exhaust. It was leaking in through the cylinders or something like that.

It was leaking slightly all the time though which it sounds like yours isn't. Take it to a friendly independent - they'll lift it up and I'm sure spot the problem in no time.

green usually aircon in my experience but i agree thats a bit of a mystery...[&:]

I had similar and it was because I'd not quite put the cap on correctly although looked OK. I'd been sitting in traffic so engine had got a bit warmer than normal. When parked, green liquid dripping from rear LHS exhaust box.Having let engine cool, reseated cap again and all OK.

pentosin is green yes and would be like a oily substance but the power steering pipes are on the driver side of the engine , the problem you may have is the pump and resevoir sit near the middle and maybe leaking onto top of engine and dribbling down when filling a cavity on top of engine....... check you pas fluid. would have thought you would have started getting noise from pump though on low fluid..
