Hi all,

Just joined the club since buying myself a 30k 2001 Boxster S.
Would like to say thanks for all the interesting reading material here on the forum. Some very useful info to help make buying much easier, knowing what to look out for and known problems these cars have.
So far I'm over the moon with the car & build quality, it still feels brand new and has been well looked after. It came equipped with a PCGB decal although the guy I bought it from wasn't a member so I thought it rude not to join. [;)] Impressive members magazine BTW

Look forward to meeting you at the club events.

Thank you for your comments on Porsche post.

A good place to start taking part in the Club's activities will be at our Region's BBQ on the 8th July at Regiment Way Golf Centre, Little Waltham (off the A130), starting at 1930 hours. We hope to have over 100 Porsches and about 150 cars from other car clubs, eg Ferrari, AM, Morgan, Lotus, TVR who have been invited. The BBQ is on a pay as you eat basis, so no entry charge.

Hope to see there.

Thanks for the reply Martyn, I will try and make the BBQ it sounds good. Look forward it.
The comments about the Porsche Post are well deserved it really is a great magazine. Well worth every penny of the membership fees for just the PP on it's own.
