I noticed a couple of electrical issues last weekend. Firstly, the intermittent wipe function is only intermittent for the first wipe, after that it just wipes at standard speed. Also, when you switch the wipers off, either from intermittent or standard, they don't return to the start position. So unless you time it right, they're left half way up the windscreen!

The other issue is less annoying but curious all the same. When i switch off the lights after they've been popped up, the lights go off but the actual units keep popping up and down until i pull the key out.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad earth. Probs the earth point down behind the headlight.

For the lights issue? What about the wipers?

lights and wipers will back feed through each other id earths are bad. It seems to be the intermittent cycle that back feeds.

OK, how do I sort it out?

That's the million dollar question....

mine was wiping when the lights were on. now after loads of checking and cleaning of earths etc it still wipes once when you flash full beam or put the full beam on. I'm starting to suspect the intermittent relay.
