just very quickly can anyone tell me does the gt3 aero kit fit on the 997 c4s . rear bumper, ront bumper and rear spoiler. i have the chance to buy one but i have to let him know tonight . any thoughts . thankyou.

A GT3 aerokit will cause you problems because of the exhaust layout. A GT3 has two pipes in the middle, a C4S has 4 pipes - two on each side. A GT3 rear bumper therefore wont fit on your C4S unless you either modify it (Ive no idea how you would do that and keep it looking ok) or also change your exhaust for one with the twin centre pipes i.e. GT3 style. The rest of the aerokit should fit but its different to a normal aerokit. Whilst on first glance they appear identical there are in fact several subtle differences - the most important of which is the exhaust layout above.

A normal aerokit will be fine. Of course with a normal aerokit there are only two parts - front bumper and rear wing. The rear bumper is identical to a non-aero car's.

I'd stick to a normal aerokit as this will keep your car genuine - residuals will be fine (maybe very slightly better off?). Putting a GT3 aero on a C4S would be very strange and probably damage residuals.

IMHO give the GT3 kit a wide berth...

GT3 aerokit looks great, don't worry about using genuine Porsche parts to enhance your car it'll have no effect on your residual, the global recession has already taken care of that!! The C4S is wider at the rear than C2/S/GT3 so you'd need to go for a GT3RS rear bumper. There are now plenty of high quality stainless exhausts available so that you can run centre exit tail pipes, look at Cargraphic, FVD Brombacher, and Fabspeed. You can go for a full system, manifolds, mufflers, 200 cell cats, etc, or just change the tailpipe arrangement depending on budget, and tuning aspirations. I posted a more detailed reply to a similar question some time ago if you'd like to look it up.
