I thought these RS cars would be more expensive???

I am amazed.

One of the Club Sport register members also has a GT3RS - & after 1k miles, it's up for sale. [:-] It's not the ££ (he owns loads of other cars...) but as he put it "didn't like it". He's now looking for 2nd 911 Carrera Club Sport.

Why so many cars are up for sale, when the GT3RS is in many people's minds the "Ultimate" Porsche (excepting Carrera GT) I do not understand. Also, pricing seems so variable on the aftermarket.

I was speaking today to a new RS owner who paid £1k over list.

This seems pretty OK and I may be tempted to swap at this level

If you have close on £100k tied up in a car, either:

1. You've got to enjoy using it regularly, or

2. It has to be a good investment

IMO it will be a long, long time before '2.' is the case.

I think porsche need to do something radical with the 996/997 range. There are to many variations. porsche should concentrate more on (radically) evolving the design and performance rather than watering down the model range.

porsche is becoming a common sports car manufacturer.

Lots of GT3 RS's here.............. http://www.autosalon-singen.de/auto-salon.cfm?languageID=GB
and an assortment of other cars........
Drool, dribble, what a showroom !! [:D]
