A friend here in Newcastle has a set of Dunlops sitting in his garage that have done a couple of track days.
He no longer has a GT4. They are free for someone to collect , although i am sure he would appreciate a little beer money ??

From a quick look they had about 3/4 mm tread

Matthew,

Just beware of the Dunlop's if you are intending doing track days. The fact that the previous owner has only done a couple of track days with them speaks volumes.

When I was doing competitive motorsport with my CR in 2014, I tried a set of Dunlop Sport Maxx Race. They were scary things, especially in the wet. I sold them on after two events.

Inconsistency of grip was the main problem. A fact highlighted by none less than Tim Harvey former Carrera Cup champion. The buyer of my cast-offs also found them scary in the wet.

If you are only road driving at public road legal speeds, then fine.

Missed out there, not often anyone gives you something for nothing, mine are getting down and will need some on the rear soon, 10k done on originals, probably better on Cup 2's as do a couple of track days per year although only drive for a bit of fun not interested in best lap times.
