GTS 4.0 Dealer part exchange

Just wondering if anyone has recently part exchanged their relatively new GTS 4.0 with a Porsche dealership. Just doing some research at the moment just incase I decide to change my car, I clearly don't expect to receive £85k+ from a dealer but wondering what the average would be in this current market given the prices these cars are currently being listed at.
Thanks

No idea Jase. Why would you want to trade it in? Just as an example I had offers back from dealers from £42k-£47k for my base cayman.

If you go onto the Porsche website you can put in your reg etc and which dealers you want to send the request to and they’ll come back with offers.

All depends on what you want for it suppose but you’d be looking at between £5-10k less than what they are up for on the used website and it depends on how greedy the dealership is.

Thanks, didn't realise you could do that on the website, I may have the opportunity to jump into another new Porsche so just doing some research before I commit. May decide not to as I only have 1200 miles on my car at the moment.

Jase,

I note that in another post you’ve said that you have a hankering for a GT4, so I assume that’s why you’ve posted this thread? I have to say good luck with that unless you’ve actually secured a build-slot for a GT4 since in general they’re very limited in number and usually require you to have bought a lot of Porsches before a dealer will consider a request. I suppose that they might be tempted if you’re offering the GTS in part exchange, but it’s very unlikely to be on favourable terms for you. Plus, the rumour (unsubstantiated) is that GT4 production will come to an end this year and so build-slots rapidly could be drying-up, but your guess is as good as mine in that respect.

Compared with your GTS the GT4’s a very track-focused car and may not be ideal for your daily drive. Maybe you should just enjoy what you’ve got? It’s barely run-in and now’s the opportunity to get to know the car better.

Just my tuppence worth of course! 😀

Jeff

Thanks Jeff, considering a number of options at the moment including a 911, aware of the build time/wait and will probably end up keeping this until a new car arrives so hopefully good all around.

Interesting times and build times are a challenge.
