Just booked in for the Carrera GTS day at Silverstone on 27th February. Anyone else going up that day?

I am there on the 21st Feb.

Earning lots of brownie points by taking my father in-law.

Booked in for 19 Feb pm with my youngest son. He is quite excited having driven nothing more powereful than a 1 litre corsa!!

I am going on 22nd February, seems like it has attracted a lot of interest. I would like to have the opportunity to drive a GTS on the road as well as the Driving Centre circuit but I guess that will not be possible on the day. Sounds like Clive has got the best option with a 48 hour loan.

did this yesturday [8D]
what a impressive car it is.....i want one.
we had great fun

usual laps of the track followed by

ice hill which was truely an icy hill, waterjets had frozen so we climbed up the hill on sheet ice, flicking the tail sideways to make it a bit more interesting or stopping and trying out a hil start on sheet ice [8D]

kickplate was out of action so we got taken over to an area of silverstone where we tried out stopping distances and weaving through cones...boy i enjoy that sort of thing [8D][:D]

Do you get to directly compare to a GT3 and a Carrera S on the handling circuit? I think this would give us the true value of the GTS....
