Hi does any body no if there OPC has a GTS 4.0 in for test drives yet. Mine are going to ring when they have one in. But that was weeks ago when I inquired. Hoping to see one with the GTS interior pack as it looks a bit dark on the configurator, and would like to see in the flesh. Also it will not let you add a red sport chrono clock with gts pack. Why. Also the configurator as not been updated for 2021. Apart from heated seat which are going to be standard equipment next year. Along with PDLS lights, dual climate control, auto wipers and dipping mirrors and apple car play. Its about time kit like this was standard. Regards Glenn

Glen,

I would imagine that customer deliveries are taking priority over getting demo cars to the Dealers right now, so you could have a long wait.

I think you'll find that the configurator has been updated to reflect MY2021 specs and prices. Spec-wise I don't think much has changed other than the addition of Python Green to the option list and heated seats becoming a standard fitment but with the deletion of the tyre sealing compound and air compression from the standard list. Maybe the standard Race-Tex interior is new too?

I'm in agreement with you that things like cruise control, climate control, auto wipers and dipping mirrors should be standard on a £70k car, but the options are in the hands of the UK importer and I guess that many buyers could be adding up to £10k of options to the base car. Those options will cost Porsche a fraction of the listed price, so that translates to a lot of additional profit.

Prior to lockdown, dealer feedback here was that GTS demo`s were unlikely.

Would not the `selection screen / module` at an OPC`s provide improved representation of colours etc ?

OPC Tewkesbury have a Cayman GTS 4.0 in GT Silver with the GTS pack. I drove it yesterday when it had about 200 miles on it. Lovely car but I find the 918 buckets are too upright.
