GTS wheel choice

Is anyone else disappointed at the lack of choice of wheels for a new GTS? The S version has a lot more to choose from :( Can you request other wheels for a build??

Jason,

The GTS is only available with 20” wheels, so discounting the Carrera S wheel which looks very similar to the standard GTS wheel there’s only one other wheel which is available, the Carrara Classic wheel, the others being 19”.

The only way to find out what might be available is to ask the question. [;)]

Dave,

Both 18” and 19” Boxster winter wheel-and-tyre sets are available for the Cayman, so I wouldn’t think fitment is an issue, and as far as I know all 718 Caymans share the same basic suspension set-up, although springs, dampers and ARBs will be unique to the variants.

I'm not saying they won't fit Jeff, I mean Porsche won't offer them as the GTS 4.0 power level will dictate more grip.

It won't be worth investing in a huge range of wheel choices for one model [:)]

Point taken Dave, and I agree with you.

Having said that, since both 18” and 19” wheel and winter tyre sets are available for the GTS on the configurator presumably Porsche deems them suitable for the power available, although I don’t know what rim sizes are used.
