Gurgling has started?????

Just had a minor service at Tognola (Datchet)....the car now gurgles on start up until warm.....sounds like near side rear with maybe some from the front...

I have read up about this on the forum and seems to be a common issue. However, my car has never done this before and MOBIL1 has always been used.

Why start doing this? any suggestions/cures etc

My car did too after major service last year. Should be nothing to worry about and "normal" behaviour, particularly after TLC by such a reputable indie. [;)]

P.S. Check your oil level first!

Cause is, I suspect, air somewhere in the dry sump oil system. My car stopped doing it shortly after its service, never done it since. Generally thought to be harmless as far as I understand.

Ditto - mine did this a lot after service back in the summer, but, now I think about it, it has now stopped (or I've got used to it).

It adds to the character[:)]

it was a bit disconcerting at first, but i really like it now! quite a comforting noise, adds a bit of character to the engine and to the occasion of taking such a great car out for a blast :)
