So, it was payday yesterday and seeing as I've been working away and very hard I thought I'd treat the missus to a slap up meal and a few beers.

After a sound thrashing (the car), found a nice little country pub and had a few bites and drinks.

Came out to find some B*****D had hit my pride and joy (the car again) on the front wing and run off. So now left with £600 worth of damage to get fixed, without the insurance due to a high excess.

If I ever find out who it was, there will be some very big men with bats visiting him!!!

Rob,

Sorry to hear your woes!! It's just SO annoying when these scroats don't own up to their lousy driving.

I hope the repair goes well. Best of luck.

Thanks for the offer, managed to find a bodyshop in Leicester who loves 911's and uses the old fashioned way off repairing cars. (ie lead instead of filler etc.)

Goes in next Tuesday. OPC quoted £1100 to repair

Rob

Sorry to hear that rob, real pain in the rear but hopefully your car will come out looking new..

Cheers

Rob , hope your car has been sorted, as posted on the 944 forum I recently came to find the back two tyres slashed on my 944 so Ive joined the club

Cheers
Chris

Sorry to hear about that Chris, some people are total w****rs.

My car is now back looking beautiful, bodyshop did an excellent job and sorted a couple of rust spots for me as well.

Why not report this to the local police. If it is a prevalent occurence then the police will have to do something to stop it. Like using CCTV to detect more serious crime rather than money-spinning fines for minor speeding offences.

If no-one reports crime then one cannot complain if the police do nothing about it.

Rob,

Can you give me the name and location of the bodyshop, as I need to get a couple of things done on mine ?

Thanks

Mark

Mark

The bodyshop I used was Kensington Motors on Prestwold street, Leicester.

Phone no. 01162518689 speak to Ed.

He does a lot of work for Audi and Mazda dealerships, his attitude is very 'direct' but I couldn't fault his work.
Good Luck

Rob
