HAGERTY INSURANCE - exile list - PLEASE READ

A lot of us are with Hagerty Insurance it seems and one of the major reasons for this has been the inclusion of track day cover in what has always been a flexible policy brokered by enthusiastic guys who understood our cars.

Their underwriters Allianz have also reduced the max annual mileage on cars from 1990 onwards to 3000.

They have said if they get enogh people leaving because of these changes they will look into it and consider a different underwriter.

If you will possibly leave at renewal because of the above can you please email me your Full Name and Postcode and I will put a list together and talk to them about it.

My renewal is in 2 weeks time so we may aswell try!!!

Email me at jpgraham @ hotmail.co.uk

cheers

Jason

i am with hagerty since late november at the time i thought 3000 was enough but ive already done 1200 miles so broberble run out before november alot on here seem to have 5000 miles on there policy .My policy will lrt me do track days with porsche club thrird party only think i might have to look for more miles on my next policy regards ray

When I took out my policy late last year it was for 3K miles with an option to extend to 5K for a fixed fee of around £30 odd if it looked like I was going to go over the 3K. Track cover also included for 10% of the premium per track day.

This 3K limit must be new, I think Steve was talking about it earlier this year.

Hi Hugh,

Sent them a detailed email of over 20 people. They thanked me and said they were going to discuss it with their underwriters and come back to me.

My renewal is end of this week so just sent a follow up.

Thanks for organising, I hope it works. Mine isnt due until end of year, but I'd rather stay with them. They are the best company I've dealt with for car insurance.

(thought I'd replied in the RS forum but never mind....)
